Two Arrests in Terre Haute Home with Meth Lab

ISP SmallVigo County—Around noon today, troopers from the Indiana State Police Putnamville Meth Suppression Unit arrived at 1442 3rd Avenue in Terre Haute to investigate community tips on possible methamphetamine activity.

user29410-1471457244-media2During a search of the residence, troopers found a working meth lab in the home’s basement, trace amounts of methamphetamine, and assorted paraphernalia.

Arrested were 44-year-old James Darren Jones of Terre Haute and 39-year-old Jason Lee Holland of Terre Haute. Both were incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail on charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine; Visiting a Common Nuisance; Possession of Precursors; Possession of Paraphernalia; and Illegal Dumping of Controlled Waste.

Jason Lee Holland was also found to be wanted on a vehicle theft warrant out of Vigo County and Marion County Indiana warrants for vehicle theft, parole violation for earlier vehicle theft, and use of a vehicle in a crime.
