WYRZ’s Shane Ray will be broadcasting LIVE from the Avon-Washington Township Public Library on Saturday, September 28th from 11 am – 2 pm for “Celebrating Avon”.

 

WYRZ’s Kevin Robinson will be broadcasting LIVE from the 5th Annual Hendricks County International Festival at The Shops at Perry Crossing on Saturday, October 5th from 11 am – 3:30 pm.

 

All the music heard on 98.9 WYRZ is courtesy of the Avon Chamber of Commerce Music Machine as the Chamber celebrates over 25 years of service to the community.

8 pm – Gospel Country Countdown with Les Roberts underwritten by Gemini Realtors – Les Roberts counts down the top hits this week in Gospel Country.

9 pm – 11 pm – Joyful Sounds with Rob Green underwritten by Relay Indiana – This week, Rob Green pays tribute to MyLon LeFevre who was an American Christian rock singer known for his work with his band Mylon and Broken Heart. He was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and traveled around the United States, ministering, teaching, and singing.

    This Week on WYRZ had not been updated since 12/6.

    I also want to know what happened to the Music Retro Countdown. It was not on earlier.

    • Our 31 Days of Christmas Schedule took over. Look for the weekly schedule to return this week. Music Expert Retro Countdown can now be heard on a new day and time. Sunday afternoons at 1 PM.
