WYRZ’s 31 Days of Christmas Schedule

WYRZ begins 31 days of Christmas on Wednesday, November 25th at 4:00 p.m. during The Drive Home with Shane Ray when Shane plays the first Christmas song of the season. Listen to Christmas music mixed in with our regular playlist through 8:30 p.m. on November 30th when WYRZ flips the switch and plays continuous holiday programming through Christmas Day!

WYRZ’s 31 Days of Christmas Schedule

Throughout the season, listen to some of Christmas Across the Lands “History of the Holidays” each weekday presented by Hendricks Power Cooperative.

Wednesday, November 25th

4:00 p.m. – Shane Ray plays the first Christmas song of the season. Christmas music is mixed in with our regular playlist until November 30th.

Saturday, November 28th

8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – The 100 Greatest Christmas Hits of All Time with Wink Martindale presented by Chapman Custom Baths and State Bank.

Monday, November 30th through Thursday, December 24th

Old Time Radio Christmas Specials presented by Chapman Custom Baths. These 30-minute holiday specials are from the 30’s and 40’s. The programs will air at 8:00 p.m. Also underwritten by Eric Bell Funeral Home and State Bank.

  • Mondays – The Bing Crosby Show
  • Tuesdays – The Jack Benny Program
  • Wednesdays – The Red Skelton Show
  • Thursdays – Fibber McGee and Molly

Monday, November 30th

8:30 p.m. – WYRZ switches to ALL CHRISTMAS MUSIC.

Saturday, December 5th

8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Christmas Across the Lands presented by Chapman Custom Baths and State Bank.

Sunday, December 6th

1:00 p.m. – Bob Jenkins presents: Christmas with Elvis. Underwritten by Eric Bell Funeral Home, Rudy’s Watch and Jewelry Repair and Chapman Custom Baths.

Monday, December 7th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: A Tradition of Christmas.

Tuesday, December 8th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: The Spirit of Giving with Jane Seymour.

Wednesday, December 9th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: Carols Then and Now with Natalie Cole.

Thursday, December 10th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: O Holy Night with Sandi Patty.

Saturday, December 12th

8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – An encore presentation of The 100 Greatest Christmas Hits of All Time with Wink Martindale presented by Hendricks Power Cooperative and State Bank.

Sunday, December 13th

1:00 p.m. – How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Underwritten Eric Bell Funeral Home, Rudy’s Watch and Jewelry Repair and Chapman Custom Baths.

Monday, December 14th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: One Silent Night with Walter Cronkite.

Tuesday, December 15th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: We Need a Little Christmas featuring Angela Lansbury.

Wednesday, December 16th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: Christmas in the Air with Tom Brokaw.

Thursday, December 17th

8:30 p.m. – Music and the Spoken Word presented by The American Dairy Association: A Christmas to Remember w/ Laura Osnes.

Saturday, December 19th

8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. – An encore presentation of Christmas Across the Lands presented by The American Dairy Association and State Bank.

Sunday, December 20th

1:00 p.m. – Bob Jenkins presents: Christmas with Elvis. Underwritten by Eric Bell Funeral Home, Rudy’s Watch and Jewelry Repair and Chapman Custom Baths.

1:30 p.m. – A Christmas Tribute to Paul Harvey.

Friday, December 25th

Midnight – The last Christmas song of the season plays.
