WYRZ’s “31 Days of Christmas” Schedule

WYRZ begins 31 Days of Christmas on Friday, November 25th at 4:00 p.m. to begin The Drive Home Show when Shane Ray plays the first Christmas song of the season. Listen to Christmas music mixed in with our regular playlist through 7:00 p.m. on December 5th when WYRZ flips the switch and plays continuous holiday programming through Christmas Day!

WYRZ’s “31 Days of Christmas” Schedule

Friday, November 25th

4:00 p.m. – Shane Ray plays the first Christmas song of the season as WYRZ’s broadcasts LIVE from Christmas on the Square in downtown Danville presented by the Downtown Danville Partnership. Afterwards, Christmas music is mixed in with our regular playlist until December 5th.

Saturday, November 26th

7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – The 100 Greatest Christmas Hits of All Time with Wink Martindale presented by State Bank.

Sunday, November 27th

5:00 p.m. – Christmas with Elvis underwritten by Christ Church of Plainfield.

Monday, November 28th through Thursday, December 22rd

Old Time Radio Christmas Specials presented by State Bank. These 30-minute holiday specials are from the 30’s and 40’s. The programs will air at 8:00 p.m.

  • Mondays – The Great Gildersleeve
  • Tuesdays – The Jack Benny Program
  • Wednesdays – Burns and Allen
  • Thursdays – Bob Hope

Saturday, December 3rd

4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – WYRZ Live Remote – Shane Ray broadcasts live from Brownsburg’s “Christmas Under the Stars” presented by the the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce and the Brownsburg Parks and Recreation Department.

7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Christmas Across the Lands presented by Christ Church of Plainfield. Also underwritten by State Bank.

Sunday, December 4th

1:00 p.m. – How the Grinch Stole Christmas presented by Wilkinson Insurance Agency.

Monday, December 5th

7:00 p.m. – WYRZ switches to ALL CHRISTMAS MUSIC
