Bridge Deck Overlay Project will close Hendricks County Road 525 East over I-70 beginning August 29th

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces a bridge deck overlay project on Hendricks County Road 525 E. over I-70 will close on or after Monday, August 29.  The contractor will be overlaying the bridge deck over the interstate.  The roadway is scheduled to reopen on October 12.

The detour utilizes C.R. 1200 N., State Road 267, Center St. and C.R. 600 S.

This project was awarded to CLR, Inc. for $882,158. This contract also includes several bridges over I-70 in Clay, Hendricks, Morgan and Putnam and Counties.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
