Traffic Signal Changes Coming to Avon Ave. and County Road 300 South

HENDRICKS COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces traffic signal improvements will occur overnight Sunday, August 26 at the intersection of Avon Ave. (Old State Road 267) and C.R. 300 South.  The new traffic signal will have a five section head.

The most notable change to this traffic signal is there will be no concurrent movements.  Only one direction of travel will be allowed through the intersection at one time. This allows for the C.R. 300 South traffic to be able to make the left hand turn.

INDOT reminds motorists traveling through this intersection to be mindful of this change.  Please watch for our INDOT signal technicians working overnight in this area.
