October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) wanted to do their part. The three CRG Hendricks County restaurants, Charbonos in Avon, Boulder Creek Dining Company in Brownsburg and Stone Creek Dining Company in Plainfield joined forces to donate 20% of each guest’s check to Sheltering Wings on October 27, 2016. Over $3614 was raised to support the safe, 24 hour haven for women and their dependent children suffering the effects of domestic violence.
Besides the Dine and Donate event, Charbonos donates the money in their fountain to Sheltering Wings.
Since opening in 2002, Sheltering Wings has helped more 13,000 individuals and families.
