State Road 32 to close with access to local traffic near Western Boone High School

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary road closure that will impact State Road 32 near Western Boone High School.

Beginning on or after Tuesday, June 3, S.R. 32 will be closed from S.R. 75 to County Road 650 W., with access to local traffic. The purpose of the closure is to install additional structures across S.R. 32 as a part of an ongoing project.

Work in this phase of the project is anticipated to last for around a month but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure is S.R. 32 to S.R. 39 to I-74 westbound to S.R. 75.

INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution while traveling in and around work zones.
