Ramp closures to impact I-70 westbound at U.S. 231

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces ramp closures that will impact the on and off ramps of I-70 at U.S. 231.

Beginning on or after Friday evening, Oct. 9, INDOT contractors will close the I-70 westbound off ramp at the U.S. 231 exit to Cloverdale. The following evening, on or after Saturday, Oct. 10, contractors will close the westbound on ramp at the same location. The purpose of the closures is to resurface both ramps.

Construction is anticipated to last up to two evenings but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution in and around work zones and to seek an alternate route while the ramps are closed.
