Town of Brownsburg Announces New Indoor Recreation Opportunities

Beginning this fall, Brownsburg residents will have new opportunities to stay active indoors through Open Gym programming at Harris Gym. The initial schedule will include adult basketball on Mondays and pickleball on Wednesdays and Sundays, from 6–9 p.m. Recreational sport schedules are subject to change based on community interest and feedback.

“We appreciate BCSC’s partnership and its support of opportunities that benefit Brownsburg residents,” said Brownsburg Town Council President Ben Lacey. “Having access to indoor recreation space allows us to meet community needs with spaces already available in our community.”

Open Gym is available to participants 18 and older for $5 per visit, providing a convenient, drop-in option for adults looking to get active, play a favorite sport, or spend time with friends.

“This partnership provides our department with another opportunity to expand recreation opportunities for our community,” said Parks Director Amber Lane. “We’re excited to bring more indoor activities to Brownsburg and give residents additional options to stay active throughout the year.”
