IMPD Robbery Coordination Unit arrest three men in connection with several Indianapolis burglaries

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Robbery Coordination Unit (RCU) arrest three men in connection with at least six residential burglaries.

Just after 11:00 a.m. on 11.26.17, Detectives with the IMPD RCU observed a vehicle, in the 3700 block of N. Shadeland Avenue.  This vehicle was suspected of being involved in several residential burglaries.   Detectives began surveillance on the vehicle and followed the vehicle until it entered the driveway of a residence in the 900 block of N. Gibson Avenue.  Detectives witnessed the men commit a burglary and with the assistance of several district officers attempted to stop the vehicle.  The driver attempted to flee the area by ramming his  vehicle into several police vehicles, striking an officer in the process.

RCU arrested 37 year-old Daason House, 29 year-old Charles Brooks and 33 year-old Darese Dixon.  These men are suspected in at least six other burglaries in the past few weeks.  All three suspects were taken to the City-County Building Lock-up for booking. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a charging decision.
