BOONE COUNTY, Ind. –  The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces lane restrictions will occur on I-65 in Boone County beginning this week.  Our INDOT maintenance crews will mill and resurface a few areas on I-65.  Crews plan to begin Wednesday, December 9 at 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes between State Road 267 (Exit 133) and Old State Road 334 (Exit 130).  Traffic will be restricted to one lane in this area.

Our crews will then move to northbound I-65 near U.S. 52 (Exit 141).  The last area will be the southbound lanes of the interstate near State Road 47 (Exit 146).  The work is scheduled to last through Thursday, December 10, weather permitting.  The lane closures will occur between 9-11 a.m. and noon-3 p.m.  Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
