Winning Big for Families of Hendricks County: A Valentine Royale Casino Night

Indianapolis, IN—January 8, 2026— This year has placed an extraordinary amount of strain on families in our community. Every day, the front doors of Family Promise are open to serve those struggling individuals and to offer hope and kindness. In order to keep up with the demand, Family Promise is planning its first Casino Night Royale fundraising event on February 14, 2026, with their presenting sponsor Cunningham Restaurant Group. Attendees can expect a glamourous evening of fun and fundraising with host Rafael Sanchez from Fox59 News! All funds raised from this event will support Family Promise of Hendricks County, helping families in the community have the opportunity for economic stability.

The goal for the casino night event is to raise significant funds to continue to provide stability services to Hendricks County families like accessing affordable housing and childcare, transportation, and employment assistance, and also to support the Almost Home Emergency Shelter which remains at capacity every week and hosts a long waitlist for those seeking shelter.

The Casino Night experience is sure to impress guests 21-years-old and up with a plated meal prepared by Chef de Cuisine Collin Hilton (2025 World Food Champion), Vegas-style casino games for the chance to win prizes, a dessert dash with sweet treats donated by your favorite local bakeries (including Mama Bird Bakery, Two  Chicks Whisky Business, Creation Cafe, and more), as well as both live and silent auctions with exciting items like gift baskets curated by local shops, Kentucky Kingdom tickets, a $500 gift card to Brown County Vacation Rentals, and a pair of men’s size 13 Nike Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch sneakers! ABOUT FAMILY PROMISE OF HENDRICKS COUNTY

Family Promise of Hendricks County works to ensure every family in the community has a safe, affordable home and the opportunity for economic stability. In 2024, homelessness ended for 126 families, was prevented for 976 families, and stability services were provided to over 3,000 households. The State Bank Plainfield Resource Center is home to the organization and is located at 238 N, Vine St, Plainfield, Indiana.
