The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department is conducting a death investigation after a fatal accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon near Avon.
Sheriff Deputies responded to the 400 block of Foxboro Circle near Avon at a residential construction site. There, a 21 year old man from Lebanon was reported dead on arrival. A statement from the Sheriff’s Department reported that the man died of injuries sustained in that appears to be an accident involving a piece of excavating equipment.
Assisting in the investigation is the Washington Township/Avon Fire Department. The Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration is also investigating.
