Hendricks County Bank and Trust to Host Versiti Blood Drive During the Brownsburg 4th of July Parade

June 22, 2026 (Brownsburg, IN) – Hendricks County Bank and Trust Company (HCBT) is proud to partner with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana to host a community blood drive on Saturday, July 4. The Versiti blood mobile will be at the HCBT headquarters, located at 1 E. Main St., Brownsburg, IN 46112.

The Versiti blood mobile will be available from 8 a.m. to noon, in conjunction with activities for the Brownsburg Lions Club 4th of July Parade, giving parade attendees, community members and local families a convenient opportunity to donate blood while celebrating Independence Day in downtown Brownsburg. The Brownsburg Lions Club 4th of July Parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 4. The parade is one of the largest in Hendricks County and features local organizations, first responders, businesses, clubs and community groups.

As America celebrates 250 years of freedom, HCBT invites the community to give one powerful gift- the gift of life. “At HCBT, our mission is rooted in improving quality of life in the communities we serve. We are honored to use this opportunity to support a lifesaving cause,” said Jerry Orem, President of HCBT. “Partnering on a blood drive during such a visible community event is another way we can help connect people with opportunities to make a difference close to home.”

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana provides blood products and services to hospitals across the state and regularly hosts community blood drives at schools, workplaces and local events. Blood donations help support patients facing surgery, trauma care, cancer treatments and other urgent medical needs. Versiti supplies blood to over 90 hospitals in Indiana and, locally, is the sole supplier of blood products to Hendricks Regional Hospital.

Community members are encouraged to sign up here to help secure a donation time in advance. Walk-ins will be welcome as availability allows. Donors should bring a photo ID and allow about one hour for the donation process. Versiti also recommends eating a healthy meal and drinking plenty of water before donating. As a thank you, all attempting donors with a valid e-mail will receive a $25 e-gift card from Versiti!

“We focus on a neighbor-supporting-neighbor mission to ensure that when blood is needed, it is available in our local hospitals. You never know who will need blood next,” said Hannah Akers of Versiti.
