Community Tips Lead to Three Drug Related Arrests in Vermillion County

ISP SmallVermillion County—Tuesday morning around 10:30, officers from the Indiana State Police Putnamville District Drug Task Force and the Clinton Police Department went to a residence at 1139 North 7th Street in Clinton to investigate community tips reporting possible drug activity at the home.

After entering the dwelling, officers located approximately 3.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a loaded syringe with suspected methamphetamine, numerous other used syringes, assorted methamphetamine and marijuana smoking pipes, and various other items of paraphernalia.

Arrested:         Gary W. Chaney, age of the address

Charges:          Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Probation Violation.

 

Arrested:         Mica C. Chaney, age 27, of the address

Charges:          Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

 

Arrested:         Dennis L Keyser Jr., age 37, address not available.

Charges:          Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of  Hypodermic Needles.

 

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
