Avon Students “Pink Out” for Breast Cancer Awareness

avon-pink-outDECA students at Avon High School are working together to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research in partnership with the NFL Crucial Catch program.

Students are selling pink t-shirts and invite everyone to wear them at the “pink out” varsity football game on Friday, October 7 when Avon hosts the Zionsville Eagles on senior night. In addition to the t-shirts, there will be a silent auction and Wall of Hope, where for a donation of $1, fans can write the name and honor a loved one who has battled breast cancer.

In 2013, AHS students raised more than $10,000 for this important cause, the most of any school in the nation. It is their goal this year to reach and exceed that goal again.

Order your shirt today using this link: http://www.lmspiritgear.com/collections/avon-crucial-catch

Wear your pink shirts, pack the stands, and support the Orioles and the fight against breast cancer on October 7. For more information, please contact AHS student Brynn Hylton at brynnhylton@yahoo.com.
