Contractor Reopens State Road 240 Bridge east of Greencastle Ahead of Schedule

INDOTPUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor, Duncan Robertson, Inc reopened the State Road 240 Bridge over Deer Creek six weeks ahead of schedule yesterday, June 15.

The contract rehabilitated the bridge located just over four miles east of U.S. 231 in Greencastle.  The roadway closed the 1st of April and was originally scheduled to reopen July 31st.
