
A traffic stop was initiated and during conversations with the driver, Trooper Cox noticed several indicators of possible criminal activity. Trooper Ian Portteus and K-9 “Czar” were summoned to conduct a free air sniff around the vehicle. A positive indication for illegal drugs in or around the vehicle was given by “Czar”. A search of the vehicle yielded a syringe with suspected methamphetamine inside the glove box and assorted drug paraphernalia. Inside the driver’s pants pockets and wallet were approximately 5.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Arrested: Aaron D. Lydle, age 25, of North Salem, IN.
Jailed in Putnam County
Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Syringe, and Possession of Paraphernalia
