Suspect Arrested in White County for Manufacturing Meth

ISP SmallIdaville-Yesterday at approximately 12:30 p.m. the Indiana State Police out of the Lafayette Post received an anonymous tip of possible drug activity in a trailer behind the residence at 105 West US 24 in Idaville, IN.

Troopers Jeremy Piers and Colton Maynor arrived at the trailer and asked to speak to the renter of the property. Kelly Wolford, 34 advised he was the renter and upon further investigation, evidence of an alleged active methamphetamine lab and chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine were found in the residence. Wolford was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Meth and the visitor, Nicole M Schneidau, 27 who lived down the street was charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. Troopers Weslee Ennis and Kyle Wentland of the ISP Meth Suppression Team arrived to dismantle the lab. Both Wolford and Schneidau were transported to the White County Jail for processing.

The Indiana Stare Police encourage citizens to contact local law enforcement or the ISP with information on criminal activity that they suspect has or may be occurring. The meth hotline is 1-800-453-4756 and you do not have to give your name.

Assisting was the White County Sheriff’s Department and the White County Prosecutor’s Office. Sorry I do not have pictures.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
