HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a new traffic signal will be installed at U.S. 36 and County Road 571 E. (Easton Grey Road) near Avon.
Beginning on or after Thursday, June 4, crews will remove the existing signal at U.S. 36 (Rockville Road) and Main Street (Old U.S. 36) and install a new one at C.R. 571 E. The intersection of U.S. 36 and Main Street will also be permanently changed to right-in right-out traffic flow only. Work is expected to last up to a few hours, but is weather-permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to use caution while in the area for the safety of themselves and workers.
