US 36 Lane Restrictions Near Danville Begin the first of April

INDOTHENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces U.S. 36 lanes will be restricted in the area the contractor will be working beginning on or after Monday, April 4.  The contractor will be working on U.S. 36 from State Road 75 to approximately one mile east of State Road 39.  The contractor will begin patching and resurfacing on the west end of the project, followed by curb ramp work through Danville along with a portion of new sidewalk.  The contractor will continue patching and resurface work throughout the summer.

Rieth Riley Construction was awarded this patch and resurfacing project on U.S. 36 for $2.58 million.  The project is scheduled for completion on September 16, 2016.

INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
