More than 50 scholarships are offered by the Hendricks County Community Foundation to local high school seniors, and the application to apply for these will be open this year from August 1- September 12. Applications for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship are available at the same time and through the same online application.
The awards range from $500 to $10,000, with each scholarship having specific criteria. Students must apply for the scholarships online at http:/hendrickscountycf.org/for-everyone-else/scholarships/ where more information is also available.
Since 1996, the Community Foundation has awarded nearly 50 scholarships worth over $70,000 each year. These scholarships are funded by donors who believe in the youth of Hendricks County and want to support their pursuit of higher education.
