Work on the US 36 Bridge over White Lick Creek begins in early June

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces work begins on or after Tuesday, June 1 on the U.S. 36 Bridge over White Lick Creek, located on the west side of Avon. The U.S. 36 westbound bridge will be replaced. Traffic will utilize crossovers and be shifted into one 16’ lane in both directions on the eastbound bridge. Work is scheduled to last through November 5 of this year.

This project was awarded to Rieth Riley Construction for $2.8 million.

INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
