Work begins next week on the State Road 75 Project in Advance

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces work begins next week on the State Road 75 (S.R. 75) pavement replacement project in Advance.  Calumet Civil Contractors will begin replacing the water main on or after Monday, June 4.

During the day, drivers are cautioned to watch for lane closures with traffic directed by flagging operations in the construction zone. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active work zone.

Calumet Civil Contractors Inc. was awarded the $4.8 million contract.  This project includes full-depth replacement of the roadway through Advance along with replacing the existing storm sewer system, curbs, drainage inlets and under-drains. The sidewalks and curb-ramps will be updated to be ADA-compliant.

The scheduled completion date is May of 2020.
