Hendricks County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a fatal motor vehicle crash at approximately 3:08 pm in the 4100 block of South State Road 75 just North of Coatesville.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on SR 75, when for an unknown reason, the Corolla drove left of center and was struck by a northbound tri-axle dump truck. The driver of the Corolla, a female, died at the scene and an infant passenger was taken to an Indianapolis hospital by medical helicopter. The driver of the dump truck was not injured as a result of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. Indiana State Police are assisting in the investigation
