Weekend Work: Construction Around Marion County

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation will be out in Marion County finishing construction projects this weekend.

Contractors will be out striping and grooving as well as putting in sensors for traffic.

As always, please be aware of the construction zones and do not drive distracted. Plan ahead and make sure you add extra time to get to some destinations this weekend.

If you are heading downtown for the Big Ten Championship Game, please give yourself extra time as there will be additional traffic.

Some construction work is weather dependent. Please follow @INDOTEast on Twitter and INDOT East Central on Facebook for the most current information on closures and restrictions.
