BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces U.S. 52 will have one lane closed on or after Monday, October 8 for patching work prior to a bridge deck overlay project on both the eastbound and westbound bridges over Goldsberry Creek. The bridges are located in northern Boone County just south of Clinton C.R. W. 750 South. The patching work is scheduled to be completed in November of this year with the deck overlay occurring next spring.
U.S. 52 westbound will be restricted to one 11’ lane and eastbound will be down to one 10’ lane.
This project was awarded to Force Construction Co. for $3.1 million. This project also includes a bridge replacement on S.R. 39 over Sugar Creek. The contractor has already completed a small structure replacement on S.R. 39 south of I-65 and a bridge deck replacement on the S.R. 38 Bridge over Sugar Creek.
