US 36 resurfacing project begins Wednesday in Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a resurfacing project on U.S. 36 will begin on or after Wednesday, April 6.  The project spans from just east of U.S. 231 through Bainbridge to the east town limits. The contractor will be flagging motorists around construction. This is scheduled to be completed in late July, weather permitting.

Calumet Civil Contractors, Inc. was awarded the $1.4 million contract. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
