Traffic Signal at the intersection of US 231 and County Road 800 South will be activated Monday

HENDRICKS AND TIPPECANOE COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 231 and Tippecanoe County Road 800 South will be activated on Monday, October 26.  Motorists are encouraged to be attentive to the new traffic signal at this intersection.

Midwestern Electric, Inc. was awarded the $558,151 contract. The contractor installed traffic signals at the intersection of State Road 26 and C.R. 900 E in Tippecanoe County earlier this year along with at the intersection of U.S. 231 and S.R. 28 in Romney that was activated today. The remaining schedule for the traffic signal installation at U.S. 136 and State Road 39 in LIzton is planned for Tuesday,  November 3.
