Traffic Signal at the intersection of US 136 and State Road 39 in Lizton will be activated Friday

HENDRICKS AND TIPPECANOE COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 136 and State Road 39 in Lizton will be activated on Friday, October 30.  Motorists are encouraged to be attentive to the new traffic signal at this intersection.

Midwestern Electric, Inc. was awarded the $558,151 contract. The contractor installed traffic signals at the intersections of State Road 26 and C.R. 900 E in Tippecanoe County and U.S. 231 and S.R. 28 in Romney. The traffic signal at U.S. 231 and C.R. 800 S. will be activated today.
