This Week at the Brownsburg Farmers Market

KIDS IN BUSINESS DAY IS THIS WEEK!

Support young, local entrepreneurs at Brownsburg Farmers Market’s Kids in Business Day this Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. Youth vendors will sell everything from homemade fudge and macarons to hand-decorated drink cups and bottle cap jewelry. KIDS IN BUSINESS DAY>>

Peppers, cucumbers, yellow squash, lettuce, zucchini and (if we’re lucky) first-of-the season sweet corn are showing up at the market this week! Other produce includes tomatoes, onions, potatoes, cabbage, kale, green beans, beets and carrots. In addition, Little by Little Farm will offer sunflowers while Hitchcock Produce and Flowers sells cut floral bouquets.  LIST OF VENDORS>>

The Brownsburg Farmers Market sponsored by IU Health West Hospital is holding a coloring contest to celebrate its 10th anniversary! Print out a sheet or pick one up at the market Thursday and post your creation on social media for a chance to win a prize. Winners will be announced on August 8 at the Farmers Market Week Celebration and Corn Roast. CONTEST DETAILS>>

Make sure to receive a stamp for July on your Bushel Builders loyalty card at the IU Health West Hospital tent. Get a stamp every month to enter a drawing at the end of the season for a chance to win a grand prize. The IU Health West orthopedics team will be at the booth to share information about their walk-in clinic and other services. Box Burger and Chomp’z food trucks will have concessions and Yadin Kol performs live music. Kol is a self-taught guitarist, singer and songwriter who has performed in places such as Washington D.C., Louisville, Kentucky and the Heartland International Film Festival.
