The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership announces August 2019 Driving Under the Influence Indiana

(Indianapolis, Ind.) — Local law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership, will conduct DUI checkpoints during August 2019.  The project Driving Under the Influence Indiana is made possible through a grant received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and is a project aimed at reducing impaired driving-related motorcycle and automobile crashes. 

DUI sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in Marion County on:


Saturday August 03, 1500
Saturday August 10, 1800
Thursday August 22, 1600
Saturday August 24, 1800
Thursday August 29, 1700


The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership involves the cooperation of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Speedway, Cumberland, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Airport, and Indiana Univetsity police departments.
