SWCD Tree Sale

— Replace Dead Trees Now —

Dead and dying trees – particularly those ash that have fallen prey to the emerald ash borer – can and should be replaced this fall with native trees and shrubs.

Grown locally in containers and available through the Hendricks County Soil & Water Conservation District, the hearty trees are immediately prepared to replace dead ones. Initial growth is more vigorous than bare root stock.

Orders close Sept. 20; all stock is priced at $25 each.

Tree lists and order forms are at the SWCD office, 195 Meadow Dr., Ste. 2, Danville.

Buyers will be notified when trees are ready for pick-up in October at the county fairgrounds.

Call (317) 745-2555, ext. 3, for more details.
