Rolling closures scheduled on I-74 in Boone County next Week

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces I-74 in both directions near the 52 mile marker will experience periodic rolling closures lasting up to 15 minutes taking place next week. These closures will begin after 8 a.m. until approximately 5 p.m. Monday, December 17 through Wednesday, December 19, weather permitting.  Over the course of three days the contractor anticipates up to eight rolling closures.

During the 15 minute closures the contractor will be stringing utility lines across the interstate near the Jamestown Exit 52. Police will be assisting with these closures.

INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
