Putnam County—This afternoon at 2:00, an Indiana State Police trooper from the Putnamville Post, stopped a 2016 Toyota four-door sedan for unsafe lane movement on eastbound Interstate 70 near the 36 mile-marker.
Information gathered during the stop led to a search of the vehicle. Luggage in the rear seat contained suspected (248) vials of THC oil; (432) grams of THC wax; (1) pound of Marijuana; (1/2) ounce of mushrooms; and (25) grams of Marijuana constitute. Street value is estimated up to $20,000.
The driver was identified as 22-year-old Brandon Zeballos of Fairplay, Colorado. The passenger was identified as 21-year-old Cory D. Rodriguez of Lakewood, Colorado.
Both were incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail on charges of Dealing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Psychedelic Mushrooms.
The duo was reportedly traveling from the state of Colorado to the state of Maryland.
Marijuana constitute is essentially a butter like substance that can be used with various foods. THC wax is alleged to contain high quality levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) for various drug use.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
