One lane will close on the US 52 Bridges over Goldsberry Creek in early April

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a bridge deck overlay project on both the eastbound and westbound U.S. 52 bridges over Goldsberry Creek, located just west of S.R.47 will begin on or after Monday, April 1.  There will be one 11’ lane in the westbound direction and one 10’ lane eastbound.  These bridges should be completed by July 3 of this year.

This project was awarded to Force Construction Co. for $3.1 million. This project also includes a bridge replacement on S.R. 39 over Sugar Creek. A bridge deck replacement on S.R.38 over Sugar Creek and a small structure replacement on S.R. 39 south of I-65 in Boone County have already been completed.
