Official Memorial Fund Established for Fallen IMPD Officer Breann Leath

INDIANAPOLIS – At the request of the family of fallen Officer Breann Leath, the Central Indiana Police Foundation has established a fund in her honor. Officer Leath was killed in the line of duty yesterday responding to a call for help related to a domestic disturbance.

The Central Indiana Police Foundation has been designated by IMPD as the official fundraiser to accept donations on behalf of Officer Leath’s family, to provide a trust for her young son.

Tax deductible donations can be made by visiting the Central Indiana Police Foundation’s website: https://cipf.foundation/officer-leath-fund/.

IMPD thanks the community for the outpouring of support since the tragic loss of Officer Leath. We remind members of the community who feel moved to contribute money on her behalf to ensure the funds they donate to are in line with the wishes of Officer Leath’s family. Any further announcements of opportunities to help honor Officer Leath will be made through official IMPD channels.
