Northwest Hendricks County Boil Water Order Issued Due to Water Main Break

Hendricks County –Parents of the Northwestern part of  Hendricks County were informed via text Wednesday morning that Tri-West Middle and High School would be ending at 9am due to a water main break. Citizens Energy Group reported that a water main break overnight had also resulted in the loss of water service to the towns of Lizton and Pittsboro.

The main break  disrupted water service to about 60 homes and businesses in the area.

The ongoing disruption also caused Citizens Energy Group to issue a precautionary water boil order for about 200 customers south of Lizton. The Town of Pittsboro has issued the same order for all their water customers.

Citizens customers with questions should call 317-924-3311. Pittsboro customers with questions should call 317-892-3326.
