Meth Lab Items and Small Potential Explosive Devices Found in Home

Vigo County—This afternoon at 2:15, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers served a Vigo County Court Division 6 search warrant on the home at 1136 4th Avenue, Terre Haute. Troopers had received community tips and other information related to possibly methamphetamine activity at the home and used that information to obtain the search warrant.

During the search, troopers located the remnants of a meth lab and what appeared to be five small improvised explosive devices.

ISP EOD units arrived at the scene, utilized a robot to examine and remove the container with the devices. The items were then rendered safe on-scene.

Arrested: Christopher S. Conder, age 34, of the address. Held in Vigo County Jail.

Charges:          (5) counts of Possession of a Destructive Device (felony) and the following five counts: Possession of Precursors, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Illegal Dumping of Controlled Waste, Possession of Anhydrous, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (all felonies).

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
