Marijuana Grow Operation Found at Rosedale Home

Parke County—This afternoon at 2:30, Indiana State Police Troopers from the Putnamville District Drug Task Force executed a Parke County Circuit Court search warrant at 2906 West Lambert Avenue near the town of Rosedale. Troopers secured a search warrant through investigative information they received from various sources. 

Arrested:         Michael T. Stanfield, age 50, of the address

                        Held in the Parke County Jail 

Charges:          Possession of Marijuana, Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 

user29410-1457476434-media2During a search of the residence, troopers located approximately one pound of suspected marijuana, smoking devices and other assorted items of paraphernalia. During a search of the garage, troopers located a grow room with halogen grow lights, (16) partially harvested marijuana plants, fertilizer, potting soil, chemicals, alternate electrical power sources, blowers, and other items associated with growing cannabis. 

Assisting were ISP Crime Scene Investigations and the Parke County Sheriff’s Office. 

Anyone wishing to report suspected drug activity in the Putnamville District is urged to call the post at 765-653-4114…Callers can remain anonymous. The district covers Parke, Vermillion, Vigo, Clay, Putnam, and Sullivan counties.
