Man injured in ATV crash, Morgan County

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV crash that occurred yesterday, March 29, 2017 around 4:30pm in Martinsville. Coby Conrad, 47, from Martinsville was operating his ATV on Turkey Track Road near Bryant’s Creek Road when his ATV turned onto its side and Mr. Conrad fell from the machine. The ATV was a 2011 Bombardier Outlander 800. Mr. Conrad was transported to Bloomington Hospital by EMS personnel with injuries to his head and road rash.  Mr. Conrad was not wearing a helmet or using other safety equipment. Alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor in this crash. Assisting agencies include Morgan County Sheriff Department and IU Health Bloomington EMS. Indiana Conservation Officer Kurt Kinser is continuing his investigation of this crash.

Indiana Conservation Officers want to remind you to always wear safety equipment and to never mix alcohol while operating ATV’s and ORV’s.
