Leadership Hendricks County is currently collecting applications for Executive Director role

Leadership Hendricks County develops quality leaders serving Hendricks County. Its next executive director must be poised to seek, prepare, involve and sustain leaders from diverse backgrounds to address community and countywide changes.

Organization Overview

Since 1993, Leadership Hendricks County has trained over 500 adults and over 600 youth leaders. LHC educates groups of local leaders to be more acutely attuned to the county’s problems, needs, opportunities and resources. Program graduates bring the community sharper leadership skills, energies focused on solving specific problems, and a network of associates with the talents and abilities to create a blueprint for Hendricks County’s future.

Position Duties

The Executive Director is responsible to implement the strategic plans and programs to position Leadership Hendricks County as a community education organization that teaches leadership. The Executive Director is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization, including sustainability, managing staff and committees, networking, and delivering all programs to the adults and youth of the community while serving as a community leader, facilitator, fundraiser and connector.

Position Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management or other related field required.

-Experience in facilitating or training and curriculum development.

-Experience in fundraising, resource development and philanthropic activities.
