Bedford – A criminal investigation led officers to find probable cause to arrest Kevin MT Edwards, 32 of Bedford today for felony possession of child pornography. After a search warrant was executed, Edwards was transported to the Lawrence County Jail where he was processed and lodged.
Assisting in the investigation were members of the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit; ISP’s Cyber Crimes Unit; ICAC Task Force, which included Martinsville Police Department Deputy Chief Lachelle Maurer, Bloomington Police Department Detective Jacob Hunter and Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Greg Hagan.
ICAC Task Force members executed the search warrant after initiating an investigation following a cyber tip report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
