INDIANAPOLIS — Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb announced today Jane Rich has been named the State Director of the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC), a statewide network within the Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (OSBE) that helps Indiana entrepreneurs and small business develop and grow.
“Jane has spent years in Indiana’s small business community, both as an entrepreneur and as a member of the ISBDC team, and I am excited that she has agreed to take on this critical statewide role,” said Lt. Governor Holcomb. “We will continue to rely on her extensive professional experience and look forward to the continual strength of the ISBDC under her leadership.”
An accomplished financial professional, Rich brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial lending and small business development in the private and public sectors. She previously served as a business advisor for the Northeast ISBDC and was promoted to the Regional Director position in 2010. In 2014, Rich was named Associate State Director for ISBDC.
“I am honored and excited to serve as the ISBDC State Director,” Rich said. “Indiana’s Small Business Development Center network is focused on expanding business opportunities for the state’s entrepreneurs. We are in an excellent position to continue to make Indiana an optimal place for entrepreneurship and innovation.”
Under the umbrella of OSBE, the ISBDC, Procurement and Technical Assistance Center and Indiana’s Small Business Ombudsman are based in Indianapolis with regional offices throughout the state to serve the needs of the small business community.
