INDOT to Close Bridges over I-465 in Marion County for Construction

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation will close multiple bridges in Marion County for construction. 

Each bridge will be getting a new bridge deck overlay. This work is weather dependent and the dates could change. 

75th Street over I-465

• CLOSED in both directions 
• Closed Friday, August 20 at 9 p.m. to Monday, August 23 at 6 a.m. 
• Detour: Binford Blvd to 71st Street to Shadeland Ave back to 75th Street 

Westfield Blvd over I-465 

• CLOSED in both directions 
• Closed Monday, August 23 at 9 a.m. to Tuesday, August 24 at 6 a.m. 
• Detour: Westfield Blvd to 86th Street to Keystone Ave to 96th Street back to Westfield Blvd

82nd Street over I-465

• Two lanes closed, one lane open in each direction
• Friday, August 27 at 9 p.m. to Monday August 30 at 6 a.m. 
• And again: Friday, September 10 at 9 p.m. to Monday, September 13 at 6 a.m.
