HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces work will begin on the State Road 75 Bridge over a branch of Ramp Run, located three miles north of U.S. 36 on or after Monday, April 20. The contractor will have one lane closed and traffic will be flagged around construction. This is scheduled to be completed in early May.
Also, on or after Monday, April 20 the Hendricks County Road 725 E. Bridge over I-70 will close. This is scheduled to reopen Friday, May 8. A local detour will be posted.
This project was awarded to CLR Inc. for $646,334 to place thin deck overlays on these bridges. This contract also includes work already underway on the State Road 42 Bridge over Birch Creek and U.S. 136 over Ross Ditch. The contractor will finish up with the Ronald Reagan Parkway Bridges over
I-74. The project is scheduled to be completed by October of this year.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
