Hendricks County for Real

Visit Hendricks County, the convention and visitor bureau of Hendricks County is excited to share their new rebrand and logo. This shift will focus on the charm of Hendricks County. With no cities and mayors, Hendricks County is filled with towns full of hospitality and a warm community atmosphere. What makes Hendricks County great is the real moments, the real places and the real people and that is what the rebrand will focus on.

The significant features of the new logo design includes the sun to symbolize the sun rising and setting in Hendricks County and the orange, blue and white color scale. These colors shades have tie ins to  Hendricks County features including Beasley Cider, Soft Serve, the Oasis Diner, country sunsets and splash blue to represent the different area splash pad and aquatic parks.

The process for the rebrand has been a year-long branding effort guided by community focus groups, stakeholder meetings and resident surveys, giving locals the opportunity to help define how they see and experience Hendricks County and how they envision the county to grow and develop.

Visit Hendricks County is making strides in solidifying its role as a trusted, genuine source of information highlighting the county’s most compelling attractions. Last fall, Visit Hendricks County added five new blog and video contributors to its Insider team, bringing the group to 12 creators whose content plays a key role in showcasing the people and places that define Hendricks County.

For 14 years, the Hendricks County Insider program has grown into a go-to resource for visitors and locals. Originally launched as a blog in 2011, the program began to include video content in 2022.

“Our Insider program thrives because it has been built on authentic local voices, and these new contributors only strengthen that foundation,” said Josh Duke, Senior Communications Manager for Visit Hendricks County. “As our blog and video content expands, the local perspectives of our Insiders help us showcase the people, places and experiences that make Hendricks County such a vibrant destination.”

New members of the Hendricks County Insider team included 98.9 WYRZ’s very own Ashley Dykton, who will contributing as a blogger and creating video content.
