Indiana Recycling Specialty Plate now Available

Recycling PlateINDIANAPOLIS, IN – Hoosiers who support environmental sustainability and recycling can now show that support on their Indiana license plate.  The Indiana Recycling Coalition’s Executive Director, Carey Hamilton, remarked, “The Indiana Recycling Coalition (IRC) is thrilled to be approved for an Indiana Specialty License Plate available for purchase starting this month.  Proceeds from this specialty Recycling License Plate will go directly to support the IRC’s statewide recycling programs and education.”

The Recycling License Plate may be found on the  BMV website and can be ordered through a myBMV account during registration renewal, at certified BMV partner locations, by mail or at any license branch. If renewing by mail, customers must indicate they want an Indiana Recycling Coalition plate and submit correct fees which are the same as any specialty plate.  The recycling plates are available to order on passenger vehicles, trucks up to 11,000 lbs., motorcycles and recreational vehicles.
