IMPD Homicide Detectives Make Arrest in September Homicide

INDIANAPOLIS-On November 18, 2021 Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives arrested 24-year-old Davoncia Beasley for his role in the death of 32-year-old Keegan Wolf.

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, just after 1:45 p.m., IMPD Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 5011 Lafayette Road on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as Keegan Wolf, inside of a hotel room with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s). Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) arrived and transported him to Eskenazi hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time after his arrival.

IMPD Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist in identifying and collecting potential forensic evidence.  The Marion County Coroner’s Office assisted and determined the exact manner and cause of death.

On November 18, 2021, IMPD Homicide Detective Jones arrested Davonicia Beasley for murder for his alleged role in the death of Keegan Wolf.  The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the cases and make a final charging decision.
