IMPD Homicide detectives conduct death investigation on Indianapolis’ west side

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives are on-scene of a death investigation where a male was found deceased inside a building.

Just after 7:30 a.m. on 03/21/2018, Homicide detectives were conducting a follow-up on an investigation when they discovered the body of a deceased male inside a building on the city’s west side at 1200 W 29th St. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist with identifying and collecting potential forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner’s Office (MCCO) will be assisting in determining the exact manner and cause of death of the male. The male’s name will be released by the MCCO once the male has been identified and their next-of-kin has been notified.
